Are there discounted rates for tickets?

Yes. Student and young adult ticket options are available. If cost is a barrier, please email [email protected] to inquire about financial assistance.

Is there a virtual option?

Yes! Virtual conference tickets are available for $75. Additional details about which sessions will be available virtually and how to join will be shared with registered virtual attendees.

What is included in my conference ticket?

Your conference ticket includes the full conference weekend, including Saturday evening’s Chai & Chat gathering and Sunday’s conference programming.

Can I attend only the Saturday evening event?

Yes. Saturday’s Chai & Chat is included with full conference registration, but a separate Saturday-only ticket is also available for those who cannot attend the full weekend.

What is happening Saturday night?

Conference weekend begins Saturday evening with Chai & Chat, a relaxed opportunity to gather, connect, and build community before Sunday’s main program. The evening will include a special film screening, refreshments, and time to mingle.

I am not part of the Sisterhood. Can I still attend?

Yes! The conference is open to Sisterhood members and non-members of all genders, as well as friends, allies, community partners, and anyone interested in Muslim-Jewish relationship building and peacebuilding.

I’m new to the Sisterhood. Is this conference for me?

Absolutely. You do not need any previous involvement with the Sisterhood or experience with Muslim-Jewish dialogue to attend. The conference is designed for longtime members and newcomers alike.

What are the food options for lunch?

The menu is still being finalized, but all food served will be kosher and halal. If you have specific dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know during registration.

Will there be space for prayer?

Yes. Prayer and grounding moments are incorporated into the conference program, and space will be available for prayer throughout the weekend.

Where should I stay?

A hotel block is being arranged at the Rutgers Inn, located close to the conference venue. Contact [email protected] for details and booking information.

Is parking available?

Parking information and directions will be provided to registered attendees before conference weekend.

How do the workshops work?

Sunday’s program will include interactive breakout workshops led by experienced educators, advocates, practitioners, and community leaders. Information about individual sessions, speakers, and workshop selection will be shared as the conference approaches.

Will the conference be accessible?

We want the conference to be accessible and welcoming to all participants. If you require mobility, seating, hearing, dietary, or other accommodations, please contact us in advance so we can work with you to meet your needs.

Can I attend only part of the weekend?

Yes. We understand that schedules, caregiving responsibilities, travel, and other commitments may make it difficult to attend every session. Full conference registration gives you access to the entire weekend, and Saturday-only and virtual ticket options are also available.

Will there be opportunities to meet other attendees?

Definitely. Relationship-building is at the heart of the Sisterhood. The weekend includes dedicated time for networking, informal conversation, meals, small-group reflection, and connecting with other attendees.
