Asma Kasuba

Asma Roomi Kasuba is a PMP certified pharmaceutical executive leading in strategy and operations.  She has helped teams launch over a dozen new healthcare treatments options throughout her 30 year career.  Asma was a founding member of the Association of Middle East and North African Leadership and Inclusion (AMENA), an employee resource group focused on advancing awareness of Middle Eastern and North African cultures and challenging misconceptions through education and dialogue.

Asma is a founding member of the South Jersey chapter of the Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom. She is on the Board of the GCLEA Mosque in Cherry Hill, NJ and serves as Sunday School Principal. She is also a founding member of the Mount Laurel Muslim Association (MLMA), which includes advocating for Eid Holiday in the Schools. Asma is the Executive Vice Chair of Muslims of South Jersey (MSJ) that celebrates Muslim identify with an annual Eid Festival and the NJ’s largest Muslim Heritage Month celebrations. Asma was also on the transition team for NJ Governor Mikie Sherrill, on the Education Task force advocating for late stage professionals transition into teaching. Asma was previously on the Executive Committee of the Lenape Regional High School PTO Board, and previously served on the board of CommUNITY SJP, supporting local communities in need. Asma’s purpose is to be a vocal community leader and interfaith advocate, strengthening relationships across communities through education, dialogue, and service.
