Regional Event – Metro DC Area

Please join fellow Metro DC Sisterhood members at the Annual Interfaith Council Unity Walk!

This year’s walk will take place on Sunday, September 10th from 12:30pm-5:30pm. The Walk will begin at Washington Hebrew Congregation (3935 Macomb St NW, Washington, DC) and end at the Islamic Center of Washington, DC (2551 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington, DC). There are several ways to get to this year’s Unity Walk. If you are driving, there will be free on street parking around Washington Hebrew Congregation. The synagogue lot will NOT be open to walkers. There is also free street parking further along Massachusetts Ave., NW should you want to drive part of the route. If you’ll be taking the Metro, the closest Metro stop to the Unity Walk is Tenleytown Metro (Red Line) which is about a 10-15min. walk from Washington Hebrew Congregation. The length of the walk is about 1.7mi. You are welcome to join us for as much of walk as is comfortable for you.
