Immigrant Communities Action Group (ICAS)

The purpose of ICAS is to join existing initiatives and organizations to address the injustices that impact migrant communities, including but not limited to, people who are seeking asylum, are undocumented, have refugee status, have insufficient protections or are immigrants.

We will work to help alleviate immediate, emerging, and ongoing needs by forming three subcommittees that will focus on the following:

  • Advocacy
  • Support and emergency relief
  • Education

If you have specific questions, email the ICAS co-chairs at [email protected].

This year, the ICAS Social Justice Action Group partnered with Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service for Tzedakah/Sadaqa Day 2020. This optional project allowed all our members, both community and chapter members alike, the opportunity to participate in meaningful action in support of refugee and asylum seekers. Visit our Tzedakah/Sadaqa page to learn how you can get involved!
