Wendy Goldberg

Wendy Goldberg is a dedicated advocate for interfaith cooperation and courageous living, with over 15 years of experience driving social change. As a founding board member and now Executive Director of Tri-Faith Initiative, she has played a pivotal role in reshaping the dialogue surrounding religious pluralism and inclusivity.

Wendy’s leadership is grounded in her steadfast commitment to bridging differences and understanding the evolving religious landscape. She envisions a world where diverse communities unite to transform lives and nurture a sense of belonging. Wendy’s expertise has positioned her as a thought leader and trusted advisor on religious pluralism and creating inclusive environments. Her passion for promoting equitable pluralism shines through her involvement in initiatives like the Race, Religion, and Social Justice Conference and training for spiritual leaders.

In addition to her roles at Tri-Faith and the Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom board, Wendy chairs the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce’s Commitment to Opportunity, Diversity, and Equity (CODE) Advisory Council. She also serves as an advisory board member for The Journal of Interreligious Studies and UNO’s Tell All the Truth project.

The community has widely recognized Wendy’s contributions. She has been honored as a member of the Elluminate Cohort V, received the Women’s Center for Advancement Tribute to Women award, “50 Over 50 NE” award, and was named a Visionary Finalist for Omaha’s Inspire Awards. Wendy holds a Master of Arts in Communication and a graduate Certificate in Creative Writing from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She also authored the chapter “Pathways for Leadership: Uplifting Women’s Voices and Challenging Male Misconduct” in the volume With the Best of Intentions: Interreligious Missteps’ and Mistakes and Pluralism in Practice.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Wendy enjoys gardening, biking, and sharing her passion for yoga. She is a proud parent of three adult children.
