Shagufta Ahmed

Shagufta Ahmed currently works in Washington D.C. as an analyst in the Federal government, overseeing Federal agency regulations and, in this role, provides analytic support to senior government officials. Ms. Ahmed has also worked as a researcher at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington D.C. Ms. Ahmed received her Masters degree in Public Affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University with a focus on Economics and Public Policy. She received her B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of California, Irvine.

In her free time, Ms. Ahmed enjoys hosting interfaith events with the Interfaith Committee of the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Arlington, VA of which she is a member. This past Ramadan, Ms. Ahmed hosted interfaith fasting or Iftar events with the D.C. area Mormon and Catholic communities.

While Ms. Ahmed currently resides in the Washington D.C. metro area, she was born and raised in southern California.
